The Maintenance Log

To access the Maintenance Log:

  1. Open ICP Expert.
  2. Click Instrument in the toolbar.
  3. Connect to an instrument if required.
  4. Click Maintenance on the left side navigation.
  5. If prompted, choose from one of the three options:
    • General - counters customized for aqueous or acid digested samples with TDS below 5%.
    • High TDS/Organics - counters customized for high matrix or acid digested samples with TDS greater than 5% and organic samples.
    • Don't generate defaults - no counters are generated. You will need to generate your own.
  6. Select whether to receive pop-up alerts (recommended).

To create a Maintenance Log entry:

  1. Click theicon on the right side of the Maintenance Log window.
  2. Click the Maintenance Performed drop-down list and click the check box next to each maintenance procedure to be logged.
  3. Enter a comment if necessary.
  4. Confirm the operator name is correct.

In CFR mode, the operator name is read only.

  1. Click Confirm to record the selected maintenance tasks to the log.

To clear the Maintenance Log, click the trash icon next to the icon.

The deletion of the Maintenance Log can not be undone and the action will be recorded in the Maintenance Log.
