Enable and Use the Chiller with ICP Expert

Consult the chiller documentation for instructions on how to setup and use your chiller.

Enable the Chiller Communication

1. Click File > Options > General and then select Enable Chiller Communication.
2. Select the COM port from the drop-down list.

Turn On or Off the Chiller

The button will only appear if the chiller has been enabled in the File > Options. It will only be active if the chiller is connected and turned on.

1. Open a worksheet.
2. Click the Chiller button or the arrow below it on the toolbar to turn on or off the chiller.
3. See the manual that came with the chiller for instructions on how to setup and use the chiller.

Turn Off the Chiller at the End of a Run

This option will only appear if the chiller has been enabled in the File > Options. It will only be active if the chiller is connected and turned on.

1. Open a worksheet.
2. Click Sequence.
3. Select Switch chiller off to automatically turn it off at the end of a run.
