Try cleaning torch and check for any foreign material.

Wipe down the torch loader.

There is an argon gas leak or blockage of the plasma auxiliary fittings or tubing connected to the torch loader.

Check the gas fittings for leaks.

The argon supply tubing or fittings are leaking, blocked or kinked.

Check tubing for leaks and damage. Replace as needed.

The argon inlet filter is blocked.

Replace the optics purge gas filter.

The Argon instrument supply pressure is high

Allow ignition attempt. Only fail if flow rate not achieved during ignition process.

The instrument argon gas supply pressure is too high.

The Polychromator purge supply pressure is low

The polychromator purge supply pressure is low. The purge flow to the polychromator may be incorrect as a result.

The instrument polychromator purge supply is turned off.

Turn on the instrument polychromator purge supply.
